Donata’s Wreaths Across Walker County, GA raises funds and gathers volunteers so every veteran at TN GA Memorial Park—and ultimately every cemetery throughout Walker County—can be remembered with a wreath.
Our purpose is remembrance
Donata’s Wreaths Across Walker County, GA is a nonprofit organization partnered with American Legion Auxiliary Chickamauga Unit 217, LaFayette Unit 339, American Legion Post 217, LaFayette Post 339, Operation Outreach and The Walker County Historic Preservation Commission. Without these partners, this event would not be possible. Our sole purpose is to raise enough funds to ensure every veteran is honored with a wreath at their final resting place at TN GA Memorial Park in Walker County, Georgia.
With the support of donors, families, and volunteers, we are working toward a larger goal: honoring veterans at every cemetery throughout Walker County. Wreath placement takes place on the same day as Wreaths Across Chattanooga and Wreaths Across America, joining a nationwide tradition of gratitude and remembrance.

A wreath placed with gratitude
Each wreath is a visible promise that the service and sacrifice of our veterans will be remembered. Together, our community can make that promise reach every final resting place in Walker County.
As the daughter of a veteran, seeing a community come together to honor the memory and legacy of those that served is heartwarming. Placing of the wreath is a reminder of the sacrifice made by the soldier and their families. While it may seem like a small gesture, the impact is great. They are not forgotten.
